Depreciation Method List
The Depreciation Method List page allows authorized users to view, maintain, and add a list of all asset depreciation methods. The system only calculates depreciation using the straight line method. Depreciation begins the month after the capitalization date (e.g., an asset with a capitalization date of March 15 will begin depreciating in April). Another method can be used, however users will have to calculate the depreciation outside of the system and manually key it into the system.
To access the Depreciation Method List page, go Maintenance > Financial Management > Asset Management > Depreciation Methods.
Click Refresh at any time to repopulate and update the list to include any changes made by you or other authorized users.
